Support Worker – 40 hours per week Salary: 14000 per annum
An exciting opportunity for a full-time support worker within a private addiction treatment clinic.
At Worthing Clinic we have a desire to support people through life’s difficulties and encourage people on their journey towards recovery and positive change. Our aim is to promote a therapeutic approach towards mental, physical and emotional health. We have handpicked a number of highly qualified professionals to work within our retreat and some of the best in the field of treatment sector, all with their own unique qualities and capabilities. We pride ourselves on our team who are passionate towards promoting recovery, healing and personal growth.
As a Support Worker you will support the clients through their treatment programme and work in conjunction with the staff team to ensure the smooth running of the clinic. This includes engaging new clients with the programme, assist with the admissions process and assist with the general upkeep of the clinic and the client’s environment.
You will be a strong team player, have excellent organisational skills and possess strong communication skills. You will also possess an awareness of the relevant health and safety issues. This would particularly suit someone who comes from a health and social care or counselling background or someone who has experience with substance misuse.
You will need to be flexible as some of the shifts may involve unsociable hours and weekend working
The position is subject to a DBS check at an enhanced level
